House of Living Alchemy

Methodology & Founder Story

My work is concerned with orientation.

  • Astrology offers insight into timing and symbolic patterns. It reveals the larger cycles of pressure, emergence, and reorganisation moving through both individual and collective experience.

  • Design addresses the physical field in which life is lived. The spaces we inhabit shape behaviour, emotional regulation, identity, and possibility in ways that are often underestimated.

  • Narrative work, expressed through Fatima’s Alchemy, engages the inner journey. Story allows individuals to recognise their own transformation process, integrate loss or change, and reclaim authorship of their future.

Together, these domains form a coherent framework.

  • Timing clarifies when change is unfolding.

  • Symbolic reflection clarifies what is unfolding.

  • Environmental design helps stabilise how change can be lived.

Human lives unfold across multiple dimensions at once: psychological, environmental, relational, and temporal. When these dimensions move out of alignment, people experience confusion, stagnation, or repeated cycles they cannot fully explain.

My role is to assist people in recognising the deeper patterns shaping their lives and to support the creation of environments, decisions, and narratives that align with their authentic direction.

Transformation is rarely only internal or external. It becomes sustainable when both dimensions evolve together.

Founder Story

Delahrose Roobie Myer

Some lives are built in straight lines. Mine has unfolded through thresholds.

From an early age, I sensed that environments carry memory and that people live inside patterns long before they understand them. I was drawn to beauty, but not as decoration. Beauty felt like a form of coherence — a way of restoring balance where something unseen had become fragmented.

Design became my first language for working with this intelligence. Through interior and environmental work, I saw how profoundly space shapes behaviour, emotion, and identity. Homes, workplaces, and communities are not neutral backdrops. They either support who we are becoming or quietly reinforce who we have outgrown.

In 2002, I founded Awaken Designs, and in the years that followed, I worked across residential, retail, and community developments, focusing on wellness-centred environments. One of these projects, Sunrise at 1770 in Queensland, received international recognition at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards. That experience confirmed something I had long felt intuitively: human well-being, ecological intelligence, and meaningful design are not competing priorities. They are expressions of the same underlying principle.

Yet professional success did not protect me from the deeper cycles that shape a human life.

A period of profound personal dismantling followed. The loss of home, relationship structures, and identity markers I had once relied upon forced a long retreat from public life. During those years, I entered what I now recognise as a necessary descent — a time of recalibration, inquiry, and reconstruction at the level of the nervous system, the psyche, and the spirit.

It was during this period that I began writing what would become Fatima’s Alchemy. Over four years, I composed a mythic body of work exploring loss, renewal, discernment, and the reclamation of self-authorship. The book was not conceived as a commercial project but as a companion for women navigating deep transitions. It became both a personal alchemical process and a framework for the advisory work I would later offer.

Alongside writing, my interest in symbolic systems deepened. Astrology, narrative psychology, and pattern intelligence became tools for understanding timing — not as prediction, but as orientation. I saw that transformation is rarely random. It unfolds in cycles that can be recognised, prepared for, and integrated.

From this integration emerged what I now call The Living House — a philosophy that recognises the inseparability of inner clarity and outer environment. When people gain insight but remain surrounded by structures that reflect an outdated identity, change cannot stabilise. When space, timing, and psychological awareness evolve together, a different quality of life becomes possible.

Today, my work continues through writing, private advisory, and design vision. I work with individuals and projects during periods of reinvention, helping them perceive the deeper patterns that shape their circumstances and supporting the creation of environments and strategies aligned with their next phase.

My path has not been linear. It has been forged through loss, recognition, rebuilding, and quiet persistence.

I do not claim certainty about the future.

I am interested in clarity within transition.

My work exists to help people orient themselves when the familiar dissolves, and to support the emergence of lives, spaces, and communities that are more coherent, humane, and life-giving.

Delahrose delves into the true meaning of alchemy as an energy and transformational process, emphasising the importance of owning and sharing one’s shadow and weaknesses. She discusses how life’s challenges, including trauma and betrayal, can become catalysts for growth, and highlights the role of grief and writing in turning pain into wisdom.

Listeners will gain insight into the “witch wound,” the power of individual strength, and the significance of deep listening, intuition, and the embrace of eccentricity. Delahrose also explores modern society’s constructs and the importance of self-development, using astrology and symbolism to understand personal story contracts. She introduces the concept of stabilising the internal grid to influence external harmony, offering a unique perspective on personal transformation.

Throughout the episode, Delahrose shares personal alchemy stories, from childhood trauma to awakening, and discusses how to overcome shame rooted in societal stigma and early childhood conditioning. She candidly talks about traumatic experiences and the journey of healing after assault, moving through shame of not fitting in or achieving societal standards, and reinventing oneself after marriage, divorce and life upheavals.

Delahrose’s narrative is a testament to the power of surrender and walking through grief, navigating legal battles, health crises, and deeper inner work with astrology. She emphasises the importance of solitude, deep reflection, alchemical transformation, embracing grief, and expressing through writing and storytelling. Her creation of “Fatima’s Alchemy” exemplifies the transformation of pain into wisdom through fables, highlighting the significance of transmuting stories and engaging in internal shadow work.

Listeners are encouraged to embrace eccentricity, intuition, and the evolution of societal acceptance, allowing space for deep learning and respecting soul contracts. Delahrose underscores the importance of humour and the trickster energy in societal awakening and signs of collective transformation, exposing shadows and stepping into freedom. Her final words of wisdom focus on stabilising the internal grid as a path to external harmony, being the bridge, and anchoring the light within.

The Architecture of Becoming

Field Whispers and The Living House

Over time, my work has shown itself to be a threefold process rather than just a single discipline. It starts with timing, develops through inner recognition, and stabilises through environment.

This is the thread that links Substack - Field Whispers, Fatima’s Alchemy, and The Living House.

As an astrologer, designer, storyteller, and guide for those navigating times of change, my work is focused on illumination rather than prescription. I help you recognise that moments of pressure or uncertainty often carry their own direction. Through symbols, the language of the cosmos, and patterns in the natal chart, I invite you to explore the deeper rhythms shaping your life. Field Whispers offers psychological weather reports — gentle attunements rather than forecasts — to help you orient towards what feels meaningful and true. The writing is methodical, reflective, and occasionally narrated from direct lived experience.

Field Whispers arose from the recognition that human experience is never isolated. Symbolic climates, psychological tides, and collective shifts influence how we think, feel, and choose. Astrology here is not for prediction or entertainment, but a language for interpreting cycles of pressure, emergence, and reorientation. These guides help you understand the atmosphere you are moving through, so your responses can be conscious rather than reactive. Insightful essays explore the interplay between relational astrology, consciousness, and inherited patterns, showing how these forces shape health, home, heart, and psyche. I aim to broaden your outlook, inspiring you to welcome change and create pathways to growth and maturity.

“Yet awareness alone does not transform a life.”

Fatima’s Alchemy was written during a time when I realised that insight must be processed emotionally and narratively. People do not change just because they understand something intellectually. They change when they recognise the deeper story shaping their choicesThe mythic structure of Fatima’s journey allows readers to see themselves reflected symbolically, creating the psychological space needed for integration, grief, forgiveness, and renewal. In this stage, transformation becomes internalised rather than just conceptual. Still, even deep inner work can remain fragile if a person returns to environments that reinforce the identity they are trying to outgrow.

This is where The Living House becomes essential. My background in environmental and interior design has shown me that space is not passive. Homes, workplaces, and communities carry emotional and behavioural patterns that influence nervous system regulation, identity formation, and long-term wellbeing. When inner clarity is supported by outer coherence, change becomes sustainable. People are no longer trying to transform against the architecture of their own lives.

Taken together, these three streams form a single methodology.

  • First, orientation within time.

  • Second, recognition within the psyche.

  • Third, embodiment within space.

Field Whispers is my Substack page where I help people attune to the larger cycles they are part of.

Fatima’s Alchemy supports the inner journey of meaning-making and emotional integration.

The Living House translates that integration into environments and life structures capable of holding the new direction.

This work isn't about quick fixes or superficial change. It’s about aligning timing, awareness, and environment so that transformation becomes something that can be lived rather than just understood. People often reach thresholds — the end of a relationship, a career change, a move, a loss of identity, or the quiet sense that life is calling for reinvention. My role isn't to tell them who to become. It's to help them see the deeper patterns at play and to support creating the conditions where their next phase can develop with clarity and integrity.

Within — Without.

Timing — Meaning — Form.

This is the living architecture of change.
