What Does it Mean To Live a Sovereign Life?

Interestingly, we hear these words, though, what does it mean to live a sovereign life? The current stream of information is that we are all here to become sovereign. So I burrowed in and thought I’d explain the concept of a sovereign life. As you will see, the words are easily spoken though living a sovereign life is not so easy, especially when we have homes, governments, taxes, mortgages and children’s schooling/health.

So when we hear good buzz words, remember to use discernment before you fully buy in because saying something and living something can be worlds apart. Also, make a note of the person speaking the words and promises; how sovereign is their life?

Living a sovereign life means reclaiming one’s freedom and personal power.

A sovereign life is free from external interference, meaning that a person can take ownership of their life, decide what is best for them, and create and manifest their reality on their terms.

A sovereign life is one of self-determination and self-rule, making decisions and taking action independently, and being unencumbered by pressures from external sources.

This can be applied to emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health, as well as to financial, professional and social matters. To live a sovereign life is to recognise a person’s inherent right to self-governance and to be ultimately responsible for the choices they make and the goals they work towards.

To be financially sovereign means to have complete control over your own financial decisions and to be independent of anyone else’s advice or influence when it comes to managing your money. Financial sovereignty allows you to create and follow a financial plan and make decisions about where your money should go that is right for you and your long-term goals.

To work at a job or for a company on a salary or wage is not living a sovereign life. Living a sovereign life requires taking independent control of one's livelihood and not relying on a single source of income. Working a basic job may provide a certain degree of financial stability, but it would not be considered living a sovereign life.

And so it is
