“Green and What It Means”
This piece was born from a series of old notes I once scribbled during my design days—when I used to speak colour like a second language, feel texture like a prayer, and shape space with the frequency of beauty.
I was always drawn to green, not just as pigment, but as a pulse. It is still one of my favourite colours.
Now, with time, memory, and soul vision deepened, I return to it—not just as a designer, but as an Oracle of Earth and Essence.
This is green through the lens of Venus, the heart, and the breath of the living world.
GREEN - The Breath of the Living Earth
Green is not a colour.
It is a frequency. A field. A fragrance of life unfolding.
The moment your eyes meet green, your body exhales.
The nervous system softens.
The breath drops into the belly.
It is as if the Earth herself has whispered, “You are home.”
Green is the sacred signature of Venus-
She who governs beauty, fertility, resonance, and copper.
And copper, too, when touched by air and time, becomes green.
Verdigris. The alchemy of oxidation. Love weathered into wisdom.
Green is the heart of the Earth,
(And yes, the word heart holds all the letters of earth, rearranged.)
To see green is to remember wholeness. To return to pulse and moss and the original codes of care.
Some shades quicken the pulse- emerald, chartreuse, jade.
Others that calm the storm include sage, olive, and eucalyptus.
Some are the very breath of wealth: think deep forest, think velvet pine, feel the green glow of abundance made visible.
Lean into green.
It carries the scent of cut grass and crushed basil, a potion of bitter and sweet.
It is the colour of fresh starts, true wealth, and soul-rooted belonging.
It is alive.
And it always seems to speak to the heart. It remembers you.
In beauty, breath, and Venusian truth,
Delahrose 💚
