The Living House:
Why My Work Exists at the Intersection of Psychology, Space, and Consciousness
Over the past months, many readers have asked about the work that sits behind my essays — what I actually do when I work with someone, and how the ideas I write about translate into lived experience.
Rather than answering that question in fragments, I thought it might be useful to share a fuller reflection on the philosophy behind my work and how it has evolved over the years.
What follows is not marketing or explanation so much as a map of the territory I work within.

About My Work
My work sits at the intersection of psychology, environment, and consciousness. It is grounded in one simple but often overlooked truth:
When a person’s inner world and outer environment are not aligned, transformation cannot hold.
People may gain insight, attend therapy, read books, and understand their patterns intellectually. Yet they often return to homes, workplaces, and relational environments that still carry the architecture of the old pattern. Eventually, the old dynamics reappear.
My work addresses both dimensions simultaneously.
I help people recognise and clear the deeper patterns they have been carrying — inherited narratives, relational imprints, unconscious loyalties, and systemic threads that move through families and cultures.
Then I work with them to create environments that reflect their authentic essence and support the life they are actually here to live.
This integration of inner clarity and outer design forms the foundation of my work.
I call it:
The Living House.
Within — Without.
How This Work Emerged
I am a Mental Projector 1/3 with Gene Keys 61/62. In practice, this means I am wired to perceive patterns others often miss, investigate them deeply, and test that understanding through lived experience.
My life has been shaped by profound transformation. After losing my home, marriage, and social structures I once relied upon, I turned that rupture into a period of inquiry and creation.
Over four years, I wrote Fatima’s Alchemy, a mythic mirror composed of 158 stories across 836 pages for women navigating deep transition.
The book became a reflection of the work I do today: helping people recognise the deeper threads shaping their lives and reclaim authorship of their own story.
Alongside my writing, I have worked as an interior and environmental designer since 2002.
My work has shaped wellness-centred environments across residential, retail, and community spaces, representing more than $40 million in property development.
For me, design has never been about decoration.
It has always been about translation.
Taking what someone carries internally and expressing it in the spaces they inhabit.
What I Actually Do
My work operates across two integrated domains.
Within: Inner Clarity and Pattern Recognition
In one-to-one conversations and through my writing, I help people recognise the deeper patterns operating in their lives.
Not just the surface behaviours, but the underlying threads that create them.
People often arrive feeling confused, stuck, or caught in cycles they cannot fully explain. Through deep listening and pattern recognition, I help them see the architecture of those patterns clearly.
Once a pattern becomes visible, something shifts.
What once felt like personal failure often reveals itself as an inherited narrative, a relational imprint, or a cultural thread that has been quietly shaping their decisions and experiences.
From that recognition, new choices become possible.
This work unfolds through:
• One-to-one conversations
• Essays and reflections on consciousness and pattern
• Field Whispers, regular attunement records that orient readers to the psychological and energetic climate of the time
• Fatima’s Alchemy, a mythic guide for women navigating profound life transitions
Without: Environmental Design and Spatial Alignment
The second dimension of my work is environmental design.
For more than two decades, I have designed homes, retail spaces, and communal environments grounded in wellness principles and psychological coherence.
Environments shape behaviour, emotional regulation, and identity as profoundly as internal belief systems.
A home or workspace that reflects an outdated version of who someone is will quietly reinforce that identity.
A space designed in alignment with a person’s true nature creates ease, clarity, and coherence.
This work may include:
• Interior design for residential environments
• Retail and commercial spaces that support belonging and flow
• Environmental consultation integrating psychology, sensory design, and spatial awareness
• Space clearing and energetic alignment practices that remove residual imprints from previous occupants or experiences
The goal is always the same: creating spaces that support the life someone is truly stepping into.
The Integration: Within — Without
This work becomes most powerful when these two domains meet.
The person and the space evolve together.
Often, the process unfolds in three phases.
Clearing the Field
Recognising the patterns operating within the person and the environment.
Designing Coherence
Creating a space that reflects the person’s authentic essence.
Sustaining Alignment
Supporting the ongoing evolution through conversation, writing, and presence.
When the environment supports who someone is becoming, transformation becomes sustainable.
Working Together
People usually find this work during periods of transition.
A relationship ending.
A career-changing.
A life structure dissolving.
Or simply the quiet recognition that the life they are living no longer reflects who they are becoming.
Working together may involve:
• One-to-one conversations
• Environmental consultation for homes or workspaces
• Interior design projects
• Space clearing and energetic alignment
• Ongoing orientation through essays and Field Whispers
Each engagement is tailored to the individual.
The goal is always the same: creating coherence between the person and the life they are building.
The Living House
The Living House is the framework that holds all of my work.
Within — Without.
The meeting place between inner clarity and outer environment.
When the inner world and outer world align, life becomes lighter, clearer, and more purposeful.
Transformation stops feeling like a struggle.
It becomes something that can actually be lived.
If you recognise something of yourself in what you’ve read here — a pattern that keeps repeating, a sense that your life is shifting, or the quiet knowing that something deeper is asking to emerge — you are welcome to begin by reading the essays, exploring Fatima’s Alchemy, or reaching out to discuss working together.
The right people find this work not through persuasion, but through recognition.
And when they do, the conversation begins.
